This study uses a qualitative method with a feminist approach by using Simone De Beauvoir's Existential Feminism theory. The researcher collected data from the novel <em>The God of Small Things</em> using a note-taking instrument. The results of the analysis show that there are three forms of resistance to patriarchal culture in the novel <em>The God of Small Things</em>, namely women able to work, women are able to become intellectuals, and women can refuse service to their bodies. This study also found the impact of patriarchal culture on female characters in the novel, namely: subordination, discrimination, violence against women, sexual harassment, and trafficking of women. The objective of this research is finding out types of bullying and how the main character struggling facing the bullying. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In analyzing the data, the researcher used theory psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud. The researcher used categorization which is categorize the types the struggles. In collecting the data, the researcher read the novel, note taking, and marked the sentence contain to the object. The result of this research shows that there are three types of bullying in the novel: physical bullying, verbal bullying and cyberbullying. Verbal bullying is the most happened in the novel. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method. The data were taken from Freedom Writers experienced by the main character, Erin Gruwell. Based on the results of the research, it shows that there are four phases of culture shock experienced by Erin Gruwell in Freedrom Writers namely the honeymoon Phase, the crisis phase, the recovery phase, the adjustment phase. The writer also found two causes of culture shock experienced by the character Erin Gruwell namely student factors and Injustice of School and Teaching Teams. Morover, the result shows that there are two affects that is appeared through the phases of culture shock, they are the positive effects includes better awareness and empathy, forcing herself to innovate in teaching, self confidence, and building realtionship with her students and negative effects including stress and emotional burden, personal sacrifice, and financial challenges. The study USES the qualitative method and USES the code switching theory from hoffman (1991: 112) and USES the code mixing theory from muysken (2000). Studies are conducted on the social media object of instagram and are searching for captions of Indonesian artists. Studies have shown that switching and mixing codes on Indonesian celebrity instagram also reflect cultural and linguistic dynamics happening in society. They point to language adaptation and flexibility in the digital age, where a mixture of languages has become common in everyday communication. Using Self-Determination Theory (SDT) as a framework, the research focuses on the psychological and linguistic mechanisms that drive women’s professional advancement, emphasizing autonomy, competence, and relatedness. A qualitative descriptive-analytical method was employed, with data collected through structured interviews and documentation from 20 young women aged 17 to 26. The analysis revealed that granting autonomy in language learning, such as allowing participants to choose communication scenarios aligned with their goals, significantly increased intrinsic motivation and reduced anxiety. Additionally, fostering a supportive community through mutual encouragement and constructive feedback enhanced linguistic confidence and perceived competence.
