Abstract
Borong Pa'lala Village is one of the villages in Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency whose area is dominated by rice fields. One of the agricultural wastes that can be reused is rice husks. The problem faced by farmers in Borong Pa'lala Village is that they do not have the knowledge and skills to process rice husks. Rice husks can be processed into alternative fuels that have high economic value. If this potential is managed well, it will be able to lift the economy of local farming communities. The approach taken in this program is to provide training in the form of lectures and direct exposure to how to process rice husks into briquettes, discussions and questions and answers with the community regarding things that training participants need regarding briquette making. The output of the Community Service Program (PKM) is in the form of briquettes from rice husks which can meet the fuel needs of local communities, and can even be sold.
