One of them occurred in Lempangan Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. Lack of public understanding and unavailability of cleaning facilities and infrastructure are significant problem factors in solving the household waste problem. Therefore, community empowerment activities were carried out with the aim of increasing the understanding of the community in Lempangan Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency, especially housewives regarding the use of household-based fruit and vegetable waste into ecoenzymes. Ecoenzymes are the result of processing fruit, flower or vegetable waste which undergoes a fermentation process with the help of sugar (molasses) with the addition of water. These three ingredients are very easy to obtain in the local community. Socialization is carried out using counseling methods and direct assistance to the participating community. This community empowerment program by making household-based ecoenzymes was declared right on target because of the active role and response of the community in the process of making ecoenzymes. Thus, in the future it is hoped that waste in Lempangan Village can be reduced by processing waste produced by the community into something useful, one of which is ecoenzymes.
2024-11-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 ABDI Al-Kimiahttps://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/abdialkimia/article/view/53335Pengujian Kualitas Air di Desa Tanete Kecamatan Bontomatene Kabupaten Selayar2025-01-20T06:04:13+00:00Ummi Zahra[email protected]Arfiani Nur[email protected]Aisyah[email protected]
This study aimed to assess the water quality in Tanete Village, Bontomatene District, Selayar Regency, through simple physical, chemical, and biological testing. Samples were collected from five main water sources, including natural springs and bore wells. The physical tests revealed that all water samples were odorless, colorless, tasteless, and clear, meeting the standard for clean water quality. Chemical tests indicated that the pH levels ranged between 6.6 and 7.5, aligning with the standards outlined in Indonesia's Minister of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023. The chemical analysis also detected an oil layer on the surface of tea-infused water samples, indicating reactions between minerals and other compounds. Biological testing identified a thin white layer in sample containers, suggesting the presence of microorganisms. Based on the findings, the water in Tanete Village is deemed suitable for daily activities such as bathing and washing but is not recommended for direct consumption without prior treatment, such as heating or ultraviolet sterilization. This study underscores the need for enhanced water quality management to ensure safe and sustainable water use in the region.
2024-11-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 ABDI Al-Kimiahttps://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/abdialkimia/article/view/54760Pelatihan Pembuatan Briket dari Limbah Pertanian di Desa Borong Pa’lala, Kecamatan Pattallassang, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan2025-01-20T06:07:51+00:00Iin Novianty[email protected]Rahmiani Gani[email protected]Asri Saleh[email protected]Titik Andriani[email protected]Andi Nurahma[email protected]Radiatul Adawiah[email protected]
Borong Pa'lala Village is one of the villages in Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency whose area is dominated by rice fields. One of the agricultural wastes that can be reused is rice husks. The problem faced by farmers in Borong Pa'lala Village is that they do not have the knowledge and skills to process rice husks. Rice husks can be processed into alternative fuels that have high economic value. If this potential is managed well, it will be able to lift the economy of local farming communities. The approach taken in this program is to provide training in the form of lectures and direct exposure to how to process rice husks into briquettes, discussions and questions and answers with the community regarding things that training participants need regarding briquette making. The output of the Community Service Program (PKM) is in the form of briquettes from rice husks which can meet the fuel needs of local communities, and can even be sold.
2025-01-20T05:54:52+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 ABDI Al-Kimia
