STUDI KOMPARATIF IMPLEMENTASI PENANGGULANGAN BENCANA YANG RESPONSIF GENDER PADA BPBD DAN MDMC TERHADAP BANJIR TAHUNAN DI KABUPATEN SINJAI
Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the differences in the implementation of gender responsive disaster management by the regional disaster management agency and the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center to annual floods in Sinjai Regency. this Research was a qualitative descriptive comparative study where the facts and data found in the field are then compared. The results of this study indicated that the fundamental difference from both disaster management institutions was in the concept of management that is used as a reference. BPBD is entirely guided by Perka BNPB No. 13/2014 concerning Gender Mainstreaming in the Field of Disaster Management, while MDMC combines 2 disaster management concepts namely Perka BNPB No. 13/2014 regarding Gender Mainstreaming in Disaster Management and Disaster Jurisprudence issued by Muhammadiyah. in implementations both of the institutions, ere different in recovery level, MDMC through others autonomous organizationthe of Muhammadiyah continues to make an efforts to restore economic conditions through training to improve skills and provide ongoing training both in terms of education and spiritual to affected victims. as of MDMC.
