Abstract

This research emphasizes the importance of methods in learning religion for students at the elementary school or madrasah ibtidaiyah level. Learning materials that are not understood by students begin with the wrong method used by the teacher, so a method that is right on target is needed. The purpose of this study is to explain the importance of Islamic Education methods in improving quality learning in madrasah ibtidaiyah. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach, so that when analyzing data through literature review analysis of primary data and secondary data. This research shows that effective Islamic education methods with various variants can improve the quality of religious learning because with the right method, media sophistication and teacher competence can deliver religious learning easily absorbed and understood by students in madrasah ibtidaiyah. https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/auladuna/article/view/46936

Abstract

The progress of a nation is largely determined by strong character, to create a nation that is dignified and respected by other nations. This research aims to describe students' character in citizenship education in SD from a progresivism perspective. The method used was library research, which collected data by understanding and studying theories from various literature related to the research. Data were collected from various sources, such as journal articles and books. The data analysis technique used in this research is the content analysis. The research results explain that the philosophy of progressivism believes that the environment can influence character development. At the same time, citizenship education is a science that pays attention to national character and the character of students in elementary schools. From these two perspectives, the philosophy of progressivism and citizenship education both aim to form students' character in accordance with the progress of the Indonesian nation.
Nurul RamadhaniMaemonahIbnu AzkaFathur Baldan Haramain

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/auladuna/article/view/46947

Abstract

This study investigates the use of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach to enhance students' reading literacy skills, specifically by tailoring learning methods to individual ability levels. The research utilized a quasi-experimental design and collected data through tests, observations, and interviews. The study focused on grade I students at MIN Kota Bima, with grade I D serving as the control group and grade I E as the experimental group that received the TaRL learning intervention. Descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically the independent sample t-test, were used to analyze the data. The findings indicated that the TaRL approach had a positive impact on students' literacy skills. Implementing the TaRL approach is an effective way to address the issue of low reading literacy skills in students.
AhmadSyarifuddinFuaduddinRiningsihIriyanti

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/auladuna/article/view/46689

Abstract

Mild intellectual disability are children who have below-average IQ. This study aims to describe the ability of a student with mild intellectual disability to solve mathematics problems using the make-a-drawing strategy. The method used in this research was qualitative research. The subject was a student with special needs who was in grade IV but had a grade-1 level of ability. The data collection process was carried out using an interview and a test. The data validity test conducted in this study involved the triangulation technique. The qualitative data analysis stage consisted of four steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and the last stage involved drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that the make-a-drawing strategy could facilitate mild intellectual disability students to develop mathematical problem-solving skills, strengthen their understanding of concepts, and increase their confidence in dealing with various daily mathematical situations.
Tri SuryaningsihArita MariniLinda Zakiah

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/auladuna/article/view/46904

Abstract

Science process skills were important for discovering knowledge concepts, but had not been fully trained at MIN 3 Pontianak. The guided inquiry learning model could train these skills. This study aimed to describe the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on science process skills in ecosystem material. The research method was quantitative with a true experimental pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample was taken randomly, with class VB as the experimental class and VA as the control class. The results showed that the guided inquiry learning model had no significant effect on science process skills inferentially, but descriptive analysis showed an increase in the average of these skills. Researchers need to conduct more in-depth evaluations and use more accurate instruments. This research can be the basis for improving science process skills, especially in the aspect of prediction to be higher.
Ayu Sarah AgustinKartiniVidya Setyaningrum

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/auladuna/article/view/45654

Abstract

Researchers are concerned about the low level of critical thinking of students in Indonesia and its impact on current generations. Solve this issue, there is a need to develop innovative and interactive learning media using lectora inspire in order to meet the demands of 21st-century learning. This research used the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination) and involved grade V elementary school students in West Sumatera province. The developed learning media was assessed for feasibility through tests on media, content, language, and practicality. The results indicated that the interactive learning media assisted by lectora inspire effectively enhanced the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Experts deemed the media feasible in terms of content, language, and usability. The implementation of lectora inspire-based learning media is seen as a creative and reflective solution to tackle the challenges of the 21st century.
MahmudHesty ParbuntariVini Wela SeptianaDebi Anggaraini

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/auladuna/article/view/46760

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are great ways to discover and develop students’ creativity, talents, and interests. Drumband extracurricular activities in elementary schools offer several benefits, including increasing musical intelligence, which has the potential to have a positive impact on students’ development. This study aimed to determine the effect of after-school drumband activities on the musical intelligence of elementary school students. Musical intelligence is the ability to think about music, such as recognising, remembering, hearing, and even manipulating musical patterns. This research used qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design. Data were analyzed using PRISMA analysis technique. Research results indicated that after-school drumband activities effectively increased elementary school students' musical intelligence. These activities provide an outlet for students' interests and talents in music, and help them develop their skills and abilities. Overall, extracurricular drumband activities offer valuable opportunities for students to discover and nurture creativity, talent and interest in music.

Nur LailiZudan Rosyidi

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/auladuna/article/view/46928

Abstract

Reading has a very important role in education, especially for students to obtain information, broaden their horizons, and sharpen their views. This study aimed to see the effect of using scramble media on students' reading skills in the high class of SD 067251. The research type used was quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of students in class IVA as the control group and students in class IVB as the experimental group, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used were oral tests (reading) and written tests (multiple choice) of 20 questions. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential analyses using the Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that using scramble media had an effect on students' reading ability. This can be seen from the average score of students taught using scramble media, which is higher than the conventional media (books and blackboards). Scramble media can be considered as an alternative medium to help overcome students' reading disabilities, especially in high grades.
Nadia RahmiRiris Nurkholidah Rambe
