PERAN PIMPINAN PESANTREN MODERN DATOK SULAIMAN PUTRI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA PEMBINA
Abstract
The main point of this study discusses "How are the steps of the Head of Modern Pesantren Datok Sulaiman Putri in improving the performance of coaches which then become two substance problems, namely: 1). How are the steps of the leaders of Modern Pesantren Datok Sulaiman Putri in improving the performance of coaches? 2). What are the leader's obstacles or challenges in improving coach performance?
This type of research is qualitative research using the Da'wah Management approach. The sources of this research data are: Head of Modern Islamic Boarding School Datok Sulaiman Putri, Cottage Coach, and Santri Wati. Furthermore, the data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data management and analysis techniques are carried out by data classification, word reduction, and data editing.
The results showed that the steps taken by the leaders of modern Islamic boarding schools Datok Sulaiman Putri in improving the performance of coaches are by doing work motivation, conducting job training, giving job appreciation, and the last thing that needs to be done is to evaluate. The obstacles and challenges of leaders in improving the performance of coaches are, 1) the existence of coaches who are not serious in carrying out their duties, 2) the number of students who violate the rules of the cottage, 3) The progress of the times and technology is very rapid, 4) the existence of parents of students who cannot be cooperated, and 5) the existence of coaches who do not understand technology.
The implications of this research are expected to be 1) To the leaders of Islamic boarding schools to further improve training to coaches, 2) Provide sanctions to students who violate the rules of conduct of Islamic boarding schools.
