STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN ZAKAT PADA BADAN AMIL ZAKAT NASIONAL (BAZNAS) DI KABUPATEN ENREKANG
Abstract
The main problem of this research discusses the strategy of managing zakat at the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Enrekang Regency, and presents the substance of the problem, namely 1) How is the management of zakat at the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in Enrekang Regency? 2) What are the obstacles or barriers in the management of zakat at the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in Enrekang Regency? This type of research is qualitative in nature, which in collecting data uses a da'wah management strategy. The data sources in this study have two sources, namely primary sources totaling five people and secondary, through the data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection and data analysis techniques use various stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation and verification or decision making.
The results of this study indicate that the management of zakat at the National Zakat Agency of Enrekang Regency goes through 3 (three) processes, namely collection planning, distribution planning, and governance planning from the implementer. There are also obstacles, especially for the general public outside of Civil Servants (PNS) who still find it difficult to pay zakat even though socialization has been carried out in various ways. This is influenced by several factors, namely the awareness factor, the knowledge factor, the lack of socialization from the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) itself.
