Abstract

The form of recruiting assisted children at the Wahyu Mandiri
orphanage, aims to determine the form of recruiting assisted children at the
Wahyu Mandiri orphanage. The type of research used in this research is descriptive, data obtained directly from the informant or object under study, which has something to do with what is being researched, complementary data that has been previously collected and reported by people or related agencies, this
source can be in the form of books. , dissertations, theses, scientific magazines,
and statistical data published by the government. In primary data collection,
researchers used several data collection techniques, observation, interviews,
documentation, and data analysis techniques. The results show that the selection / recruitment carried out by the Wahyu orphanage in Gowa Regency is grouped into two parts, namely: a). Work agent / intermediary, a work agent is an intermediary between the manager of the orphanage and those who need a service or assistance so that what is wanted from the orphanage manager and the party who wants to be helped will be brought
together and united by the work agent / intermediary. b). Offer of school / education. Recruitment by means of offering schools / education is a method carried out by the management of the Wahyu orphanage in Gowa Regency to attract the attention of the child's family / parents so that the child / family is allowed to be admitted / entrusted to the orphanage is none other than to provide educational services so that the child -children can be saved from dropping out of school.
