UPAYA MOTIVASI BELAJAR ANAK NELAYAN DI DESA SABALANA PULAU PAMALIKANG KABUPATEN PANGKEP

Abstract

This research is an effort to motivate the learning of fishermen's children in Sabalana Village, Pamalikang Island, which aims to determine the efforts of Islamic counseling to address the low learning motivation of fishermen's children, in Pamalikang Island, Sabalana Village, and to determine the obstacles that affect the low learning motivation of fishermen's children. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The approach used is a guidance approach and a sociological approach. Data collection methods are observation, interview, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the efforts of Islamic counseling in improving the learning motivation of fishermen's children in Sabalana Village, Pamalikang Island, were to provide motivation or encouragement to parents and children. Hopefully with this kind of motivation parents and children will understand the importance of education. While the obstacles experienced by Islamic counseling in increasing the learning motivation of fishermen's children in Sabalana Village, Pamalikang Island, Pangkep Regency, are the lack of motivation of parents towards children, the influence of the living environment. All of this affects parents and children, it is difficult to accept motivation or encouragement from others to continue their children to the next level of education.
