KECEMASAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP BENCANA BANJIR BANDANG DI DESA BATUGANDA KECAMATAN LASUSUA KABUPATEN KOLAKA UTARA
Abstract
This study describes how the level of public anxiety towards banjir bandang disasters includes aspects of emotional reactions, cognitive reactions and physiological reactions. This research was conducted in Batuganda Village, Lasusua District, North Kolaka Regency. This research is in the form of descriptive with a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were heads of households affected by banjir bandang disasters with a total of 67 respondents. Determination of sample researchers using saturated sampling or census. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires (questionnaires), observation and documentation studies.
The results of the study showed that from the three aspects, the level of public anxiety towards banjir bandang disasters was in the moderate category. So that it takes an overall management of aspects related to community anxiety about banjir bandang disasters. This can be seen from the continuum line as a whole where the total score is 4.409. Based on the results of the study, the problem solving program plan is the Anxiety Level Reduction Program through Self Help Group and Preparation of Contingency Plans. The program was analyzed using the SWOT technique, which saw the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the program. The success of the program can be seen from the achievement of program objectives, namely reducing the level of anxiety experienced by the community.
