Mental health problems at this stage are described as serious changes in the way children learn, behave, or handle their emotions, leading to difficulties and challenges in their daily lives. Mental health screening activities are crucial for early identification of children's mental health issues and providing appropriate interventions. The method employed in this community service activity is screening using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire, followed by providing health education on recognizing and preventing mental health issues in school-age children. Results: screening was conducted on 10 children, revealing mental and emotional condition problems indicated by abnormal scores in total difficulty, emotional problems, conduct problems, and peer problems. Children are a group vulnerable to fever because their immune system is still not optimal. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2020, the number of fever cases worldwide reached 11-20 million people and it is estimated that between 128,000-161,000 people die every year. Therefore, it is important to provide education on how to treat fever, one of which is using onion compresses. Community Service aims to increase public knowledge about treating fever in children using shallot compresses. The approach used by the health belief model theory shows that there are differences in knowledge before and after being given health education. Good knowledge will be the first step that people can take in dealing with children's fevers so that they avoid danger. Education using the health belief model theory approach can be used to increase public knowledge.

Keyword: children, compresses, , fever, health belief mode, union

Andi adriana Amal Copyright (c) 2024 Andi adriana Amal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2024-10-25 2024-10-25 1 1 9 14 EDUKASI NUTRISI YANG TEPAT PADA PASIEN YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI DI RSUP WAHIDIN SUDIROHUSODO MAKASSAR https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/jocen/article/view/45353

Gynecological cancer is a major disease that attacks women.
