One common issue associated with diabetic foot ulcers is the presence of unpleasant odors. This study aims to investigate the potential of secang wood decoction as an effective odor control for diabetic foot ulcers. This research follows an experimental design with pre-test post-test control group. The study sample consists of 32 patients with diabetic foot ulcers, randomly assigned to two groups. The treatment group received wound cleansing with secang wood decoction, while the control group was washed with a 0.9% NaCl solution. The results indicated a significant reduction in odor intensity both treatment and control group. This research concludes that secang wood decoction demonstrated potential effectiveness in controlling odors associated with diabetic foot ulcers. These findings suggest that secang wood decoction holds promise as a natural and accessible method for managing odor in diabetic foot ulcers. Further research is needed to explore its long-term effects and potential side effects. Additionally, studies with larger sample sizes and diverse populations would provide more comprehensive insights into the effectiveness and safety of secang wood decoction as an odor control measure for diabetic foot ulcers.

2024-12-27T06:04:01+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Kurnia Harli, irfan, Nur Auliyah Febriani, Siti Fatimah Azzahra, Ikram Bauk, Aco Mursyidhttps://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/kesehatan/article/view/52031THE APPLICATION OF LEAN HOSPITAL IN ANALYZING THE WAITING TIME OF INPATIENT PATIENTS AT THE EMERGENCY ROOM OF UNHAS HOSPITAL2024-12-27T06:16:04+00:00Nur Surya Wirawan Syamsu[email protected]
The purpose of this study was to examine the variables that affect the length of waiting time for inpatients in the UNHAS Hospital Makassar emergency room when using the Lean Hospital strategy.

This study employed a qualitative methodology that included in-depth interviews with 36 patients and emergency room staff in addition to real-time observation. Descriptive interpretation of the data was carried out, along with value stream mapping to illustrate waiting times and fishbone problem analysis

According to the findings, patients at emergency rooms had to wait six hours and six minutes. During patient surveillance, non-value-adding activities predominate, with the main ones being waiting time waste, human talent, flaws, overprocessing, motion, overproducing, and transportation. The resources analysis reveals that more personnel, specifically admissions and registration officials, are required.
2024-12-27T06:15:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Nur Surya Wirawan Syamsuhttps://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/kesehatan/article/view/38444ACE2 EXPRESSION OF HYPERTENSIVE RAT LUNGS GIVEN ACE-I, CCB, AND SWITCHING ACEI TO CCB2025-01-02T01:41:07+00:00Muthiah Abustani[email protected]
2025-01-02T01:18:30+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muthiah Abustanihttps://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/kesehatan/article/view/38943STATUS KEBERSIHAN RONGGA MULUT DAN KEBUTUHAN PERAWATAN JARINGAN PERIODONTAL PADA LANSIA DI DAERAH PESISIR PUGER, KABUPATEN JEMBER2025-01-02T01:38:18+00:00Maria Fransisca Utha[email protected]Manta Fany[email protected]Melok Aris Wahyukundari[email protected]Peni Pudjiastuti[email protected]Rendra C. The formation of vaccine antibodies also depends on adjuvants, namely substances added to strengthen the formation of antibodies. The most commonly used adjuvants are aluminum salts, but they are not always optimal. The adjuvant view of vaccines can shift to a holistic meaning that is bioenergetic and homeostatic. For this purpose, the vaccine can be optimized with a 650nm bioenergetic laser administered at acupuncture points, becoming a vaccine adjuvant. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the benefits of laser acupuncture as a vaccine adjuvant, namely to increase antibodies and administer vaccines. This research wants to prove the increase in Sinovac vaccine RBD antibody titer, which at the beginning. This research method is a two-group, two-posttest only design (observational) with a control group and purposive sampling in collaboration with Lakespra and laboratory approval, starting in early February 2022 and ending in March 2022. Subjects who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were given vaccine administration according to their group, and then blood specimens were taken for RBD antibody testing. The data was evaluated to see the increase in antibodies after the first and second vaccines compared to the control group of the prediction was in doubt about the formation of antibodies.
2025-01-02T01:21:02+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Flora Eka Sari
