One of the causes of students having difficulty in understanding straight line equation material is due to students' lack of understanding of prerequisite material, namely cartesian diagrams, functions, and algebra. The service was carried out at MTs Madani Alauddin Po-pao class VIII C which aims to help students understand the straight line equation material by providing assistance to students. The service was carried out by mathematics education students and lecturers who were carrying out School Field Practices (PLP) 2 for 8 meetings by providing assistance to students during the learning process and working on assignments at the end of the meeting both personally and in groups in working on student worksheets at meetings 3 and 4. The results of the assistance show that the learning outcomes of students have increased, namely seen from the posttest results which show 27 students who fall into the medium to very high category which compared to the previous pretest results only 14 students fell into the medium to very high category. In addition, after conducting interviews, it is known that students like collaborative learning because the classroom atmosphere is interesting and do not feel awkward if there is something they want to ask. So that the service carried out with learning assistance has a positive impact on students in understanding the straight line equation material.
2024-07-31T13:22:06+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Nur Miftahul Jannah, Hilmirrahma, St. Aswiah, Siti Sulaeha, Suharti https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/khidmah/article/view/47529 Student Learning Assistance in Class Using Learning Media with Powerpoint and Learning Video 2024-07-31T15:25:43+00:00 Fitriani Nur [email protected] Anugra Sukkuru [email protected] Baharuddin [email protected] Thamrin Tayeb [email protected] Andi Ika Prasasti Abrar [email protected]
This community service aims to overcome students' understanding difficulties in the material of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) by utilising power point learning media and learning videos at MTsN Gowa. The development of the times must still be accompanied by the cultivation of the basic values of Pancasila, especially in terms of tolerance of diversity through character education. The purpose of this research is to create learning media that integrates the cultivation of the values of the third principle of Pancasila with mathematics lessons. Adventure Of Algebra (AOA) is a solution that can be used as a learning media that is not only able to increase students' interest and learning outcomes but can be a space to instill Pancasila values, especially in the third principle of Pancasila, namely Indonesian unity. The implementation of learning is carried out offline in class for 3 hours of learning. The learning stages carried out begin at the planning stage, pre-test, demonstration of the use of learning media, post-test, and evaluation. Based on the results of the pre-test, it shows that the learning outcomes of students in algebraic material obtained an average of 78 while regarding the results of direct observation of initial knowledge related to Pancasila values show that only about 45% of the total number of students in class IX.5 who understand well the values of Pancasila. Meanwhile, based on the results of the post-test of students, the average learning outcomes of students increased to 86. And for the results of observations related to the tendency of students to understand the values of Pancasila increased to 85% which is described in the learning process that takes place actively and fun for students. With an active and fun learning process, you also have to adjust the learning media used with the sub-materials that students learn.
2024-07-31T19:06:22+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Muh. There are still problems with the Pancasila Student Profile implementation process, such as teachers' not being competence to interpret P3 in relation to it. Teachers still struggle to determine when P3 should be implemented, and they don't seem creative when it comes to making a project to the unique needs of the chosen students. They also seem to believe that all projects must result in a finished output. The goal of the project seminar, which is a type of community service activity, is to help social studies teachers in the city of Parepare understand how to use Pancasila students (p5) in the classroom as a way to develop students' character. The seminar is focused on raising the profile of Pancasila students (p5) in the junior high school level in the social studies field. Observing teacher needs through surveys and interviews, planning, and seminar execution are the first steps in the implementation process employed for this community activity. The findings of the questionnaires completed by seminar attendees after the activity are used to assess the degree of success of the service. According to the computations from the questionnaire, 93,86% of respondents fell into the very good category. The results of this evaluation indicate that the activities carried out were able to increase teachers' knowledge regarding P3, increase understanding in implementing P3, and motivate teachers to implement P3 in schools well. As a result, it is strongly advised that service projects be conducted often to help teachers become more successful at applying the Pancasila student profile.
2024-07-31T20:22:55+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Masita, Mas’ud Badolo, Marwati Abd. The implementation of the curriculum emphasizes the development of HOTS thinking skills. Some of the obstacles found include the ability of students to solve problems with the HOTS type, including polynomial material. Some students have difficulty conceptually implementing polynomials with analysis and criticism in solving problems that require a higher level of thinking. The service carried out was in the form of assistance to students in class XI Package 8 MAN 2 Makassar City, which aimed to improve students' ability to solve HOTS questions on polynomial material. The service was carried out with an interactive approach and based on practical exercises related to HOTS questions. Evaluation of service success rate is carried out through a learning outcome test that includes HOTS questions and student response questionnaires. Based on the analysis of the learning outcome test, it was obtained that the average score of students was 78.8 with a medium category. The study of student responses obtained a response percentage of 80.53 with a positive category. The results of this evaluation show that practical and effective practice-based mentoring improves students' HOTS abilities in polynomial materials. Thus, service activities in the form of assistance in solving HOTS questions are feasible to be carried out on an ongoing basis to improve students' HOTS abilities.
2024-07-31T21:34:46+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/khidmah/article/view/49846 The Influence of Using Quizizz Learning Media on Student’s Interest in Learning at Class VII MTsN 1 Makassar City 2024-07-31T22:28:18+00:00 Nur Yuliany [email protected] Rahmawati Nur [email protected] Besse Alfiani [email protected] Riska Yunus [email protected] Nurhalifah [email protected] Magfira Syahrul [email protected] Saskia Hairunnisa [email protected] Sri Ayu Amaliyah Ramadhani [email protected] Rahmatullaili [email protected]
The aim of this service activity or PLP 2 is to help students inscrease their interest or motivation in learning mathematics.
