<p><em>The use of cooking oil at the household level is a basic necessity since many foods are processed through frying. Used cooking oil is often disposed of improperly, leading to environmental damage as it is considered waste. This community service activity aims to provide outreach and assistance to households in utilizing waste cooking oil to add value rather than discarding it carelessly or consuming it in an unfit condition. This activity was conducted in Taroada Village, Turikale District, Maros Regency. The goal of this activity is to educate household members by providing guidance on soap making from waste cooking oil. The method used in this study is service learning, in which the material is delivered through hands-on soap-making practice and a question-and-answer session to encourage active participation. The result of this activity is that the community becomes aware of the health and environmental impacts of waste cooking oil and learns how to recycle it into soap.</em></p>Risqah Amaliah Kasman, Siti Indriyati Indris, Reski Kartini Addas, Haeriani

<p><em>Learning media is used in the learning process to facilitate teachers in implementing learning, one of the media that is often used in the learning process is a wall magazine (mading). This assistance aims to enable students to know how to make learning media and to know or understand learning media in the learning process. The method used by researchers in this community service is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method which has three stages, namely: the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the reflection stage. This community service was carried out at the Al-Markaz Al-Islami Darul Istiqama Sinjai Islamic Boarding School. The subjects in this community service were 24 students. The results obtained from the beginning to the end of the community service were that students were able to make learning media in the form of wall magazines (mading) and understood the usefulness of media in the learning process.</em></p>Suriyati, Jamaluddin, Mutmainnah, Afdal Arifin

<p><em>Social development in children, especially in cooperation behavior is very important to be stimulated from an early age, because it is fundamental to children in interacting with people around them. fundamental in children in interacting with people around them. This service aims to determine cooperative behavior after applying the group discussion method to children aged 5-6 years. This community service research in the form of service learning was carried out at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Minasa Upa Kindergarten, Makassar City with a total of 10 children participating. The instruments used were an animal size sorting activity worksheet, an observation sheet on the achievement of children's cooperative behavior and an evaluation sheet on the implementation of the intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the service show that children are able to increase cooperative behavior in groups. The findings in this service show that the application of the group discussion method is effective in stimulating social interaction and collaboration among children which is the basic foundation for working together and improving their social skills in the future.</em></p>Nurul Asisa, Eka Damayanti, M. <p><em>The workshop "Strategy and Implementation of Effective Science Laboratory Management" is a community service initiative based on service learning, aimed at improving the capacity of science/physics teachers and laboratory personnel in Gowa Regency in managing laboratories. The primary focus of this activity is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the management of laboratory equipment, materials, and environments to support a high-quality learning process and minimize the risk of accidents. The service method used follows the service learning approach, which consists of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this activity indicate that participants' responses to both the technical aspects and content of the workshop were at a very positive level. Their response to the relevance of the material was highly favorable, and there was a significant improvement in their understanding of science laboratory management after participating in the workshop. <p><em>Community service activities through strengthening social emotional competence to prevent the vulnerability of elementary school students as victims and perpetrators of bullying aim to raise awareness of the importance of preventing bullying both as victims and perpetrators. Community service methods through socialization, education and role playing. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document studies. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman technique. The program was implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. First, the preparation stage involved observing students in school, identifying issues, and determining the appropriate forms of intervention. In addition, the implementation stage included strengthening socio-emotional competencies tailored to students’ developmental stages. The next was the monitoring and evaluation stage. It assessed the students’ understanding and evaluated the overall process of the program. The results revealed significant improvements: responsible decision-making increased by 95%, relation skills by 92%, social awareness by 90%, and self-management by 87%. Furthermore, the participants also expressed positive feedback. It deals with the clarity of material delivery, the use of media and supporting tools, and the engaging methods during the program.</em></p>Susanto

<p><em>Augmented Reality (AR) is an innovative technology that is able to present three-dimensional virtual objects in the real world, thus providing an interactive learning experience. AR-based learning media has the potential to help students understand abstract concepts in geometry transformation more clearly and interestingly. This community service aims to facilitate the learning process of students on geometry transformation material using Augmented Reality (AR) based learning media. The activity was carried out at Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf High School with three main stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. In the preparation stage, AR learning media development and preparation of learning tools were carried out. The implementation stage includes the introduction of the concept of geometric transformation and direct practice of using AR learning media by students. The evaluation stage was carried out with learning outcome tests and questionnaires to measure the effectiveness and learners' responses to the activities. The evaluation results showed that the average learning outcomes of learners were 74, with a good category. In addition, the average learner response to the implementation of mentoring is 72.36, which is included in the positive category. These findings indicate that AR-based learning assistance can make a positive contribution to learners. <p><em>Mathematics is an important subject because the topics in it are interrelated at every level. Matrix is one of the subjects where students make many mistakes and have difficulty in understanding concepts, especially determinants and inverses of matrices. This service is a learning assistance for students at MA Madani Alauddin Pao-Pao South Sulawesi, which aims to provide guidance to students in solving determinants an inverse of matrices through determinant an matrix board media. This service was carried out by Mathematics Education students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar for 8 meetings, by making determinant and invers matrix board media to help students understand matrix concepts, especially determinants and inverses of matrices. <p><em>Mathematics education currently continues to face various challenges, especially at MTSN Kota Batu where most students still have low mathematical literacy skills, this is due to the lack of effectiveness of the learning models implemented. Therefore, it is necessary to provide learning assistance so that students can improve their mathematical literacy skills. The community service method used is the Service-Learning method. This learning assistance is carried out with an interactive and comprehensive approach. The aim of this learning assistance is so that students can improve their mathematical literacy skills by implementing the E-Split Classroom learning model. The result of the learning assistance activities that have been carried out is that students' mathematical literacy skills are facilitated, this is proven by an average of 72.7 in the high category. Thus, learning assistance activities are recommended to be carried out periodically and continuously in an effort to face various challenges that exist, especially in the world of mathematics.
