ABSTRACT

Resource sharing is sharing of library resources among participated libraries on the basis of the principle of cooperation. This applies in sharing documents, labors, services, spaces and equipment. This research identifies how the resource sharing practices in the perspective of Universitas Esa Unggul Library. The study used a case study analysis method. The study found that resource sharing activities become one of the best solutions for libraries to fulfill the needs of the end-users. Resource sharing activities are motivated by to expand the network and to meet the requirements of National Library Accreditation's assessment. In practice, to do resource sharing activities required support from the university management and library staff so that these activities can effectively run.
