https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/52250

Farmers' welfare is when they have a good quality of life and adequate economic stability. Welfare is not only in the economy but also in social matters such as health, education and the environment. This study aims to determine the analysis of the application of the muzara'ah system to the welfare of farmers in Bintais Julu. The method used is a quantitative approach through distributing questionnaires to respondents with the census method to 35 respondents including landowners and tenant farmers in North Padang Lawas Regency. The results of this study indicate that the muzara'ah system provides a positive and significant relationship to the welfare of farmers. It can be concluded that the muzara'ah system has a significant effect on the welfare of farmers. This muzara'ah system has a relationship of 13.6% while the remaining 86.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The muzara'ah system provides employment opportunities for sharecroppers and helps landowners in managing their gardens so as to create increased welfare between the two parties so that this system needs to be applied more widely.
Ila NasutionTri Inda Fadhila RahmaBudi Harianto

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/51824

This study aims to reveal another side of the utilization of zakat through the concept of zakatnomics. Zakatnomics is a combination of zakat and economics. This concept is based on four pillars, namely; religious spirit, productive culture, economic justice, zakat institutions, infaq, alms and waqf. In short, zakatnomics has two welfare motivations, spiritual and material welfare which are human needs in the world. This study is qualitative and uses informant data sources. The results of this study indicate that the religious spirit of mustahik who receive zakat funds can be said to be good or increasing. In contrast, in the productive culture category, it has not increased effectively because the results of the productive efforts carried out only cover daily needs. The pillar of economic justice has been implemented well by mustahik where the profits obtained are distributed to meet all family needs. Likewise, the institutional category of zakat, can be said to have run well, although it is necessary to improve services and carry out socialization on an ongoing basis.
JamaluddinBaharuddin SemmailaAndi Sumardin

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/52073

Cyberattacks on the financial sector, including Islamic banks, pose serious threats that can impact market stability and performance. This includes Bank Syariah Indonesia, the largest Islamic bank in Indonesia, where such risks may affect stock performance. This research aims to analyze the impact of cyberattacks on the stock performance of Bank Syariah Indonesia, both before and after the cyberattack incident. The methodology employed is quantitative analysis with comparative tests. The data used is secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and Yahoo Finance. The sample was taken from the stock return data of BSI with the stock code BRIS for the year 2023, before and after the cyberattack. Data testing utilized normality tests and comparative tests using the Wilcoxon test. The results indicate a significance value above 0.05, specifically 0.852, suggesting that the stock returns before and after the cyberattack did not experience a significant difference. This indicates that BSI’s stock returns remained stable despite the cyberattack, with the market tending to focus on fundamental performance and long-term prospects of BSI’s stock. Thus, the occurrence of the cyberattack did not affect the stock return, which is part of the stock performance.
Hamdan ArdiansyahArie NovianaAip Zaenal Mutaqin

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/48593

The outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic has had significant negative effects on various sectors, including the economy in Indonesia. These adverse impacts have also extended to the Sharia-based financial and business sectors. This study aims to identify and explore the challenges faced by the Islamic economy and industry in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic and its on going endemic nature. A qualitative research approach was used, drawing from various studies and prior research findings. The study reveals a decline in several Sharia products and challenges in Sharia production, largely due to a heavy dependence on imported raw materials. This issue continues to affect businesses within the Sharia-based economic and financial sector, ultimately limiting investment opportunities. Consequently, with government support, actors in the Sharia economy and business sector need to reassess growth targets and leverage digital technology to recover from the economic disruptions caused by the coronavirus endemic. Research Implications Sharia-based businesses should diversify supply chains to reduce dependence on imports and adopt digital technology to boost resilience and competitiveness. The government can support recovery by providing incentives and fostering innovation in Sharia-compliant products to ensure sustainable growth.
Jam'anAsdarNur Sandi Marsuni

The research method uses quantitative associative multiple linear regression using secondary data from the Financial Services Authority publication. The type of data uses time series. The sample of Islamic insurance companies listed in IKNB Syariah for the period 2018-2022 with a total of 58 companies. Data processed using SPSS. The results of market share research have a significant positive effect on the total assets of Islamic Insurance Companies in Indonesia in 2018-2022. Density has no significant effect, and investment yield has a significant positive effect, gross contribution has no significant effect. Meanwhile, based on the results of analysis using SPSS version 23, all independent variables, namely Market Share, Density, Investment Yield, and Gross Contribution together have a significant effect on the dependent variable. Simultaneously, when market share, density, investment yield, and gross contribution function together, they create a favourable environment for the growth of total assets. The combined effect of these factors provides an overview of how economic and strategic factors can influence asset accumulation in the context of the analysed market or industry.
Rahmad Sahputra TanjungNur Ahmadi Bi RahmaniFauzi Arif Lubis

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/53792

Humanitarian crises, whether caused by war or natural disasters, often result in victims losing their wealth and becoming poor. Zakat, infak, and sedekah can assist them, but the legal aspects of their utilization must be considered. Zakat can only be given to the eight specified categories. This article aims to explore the use of ZIS for victims of humanitarian crises from the perspective of ijma’. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with library research, which involves collecting data from various sources, followed by data reduction, presentation, conclusion, and data verification. The results of the study show that the use of ZIS for humanitarian purposes is permitted based on the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) No. 23 of 2020, No. 66 of 2022, and No. 83 of 2023. These fatwas state that zakat distribution directly to disaster victims must meet the criteria of the eight asnaf. Meanwhile, for public welfare needs, it falls under the asnaf sabilillah. The MUI fatwa can be considered as an ijma’ of Indonesian scholars because its methodology is based on ijma’. However, if the MUI fatwa is not classified as ijma’, it can be considered ijtihad jama’i (collective ijtihad), which represents a consensus of Islamic law experts and other relevant specialists, and its results can be held accountable.
Nur EfendiMustofa Hasan

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/53774

In an era where corporate ethics are increasingly scrutinized, the question arises: can social responsibility truly enhance a company's competitive edge? This study aims to analyze the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the competitiveness of Sharia companies in the international market. Using a quantitative approach and secondary data from 30 Sharia companies listed on the stock exchange during the period of 2015-2023, this research found a significant positive relationship between CSR and the competitiveness of companies. The regression analysis results indicate that each one-unit increase in CSR value is associated with a 0.45 unit increase in company competitiveness. These findings suggest that Sharia companies actively engaged in CSR not only enhance their reputation but also strengthen their position in the international market. This research contributes significantly to the understanding of the role of CSR in the business strategies of Sharia companies.
Akhmad YusupPopon SrisusilawatiCecep Soleh Kurniawan

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/47371

Green retail sukuk is a new study to solve government infrastructure development problems from a funding perspective. These problems can be answered by retail green sukuk. In its application, green retail sukuk uses the construction of the wakalah contract as the basis for the contract. This study aims to examine more deeply the existence of green retail sukuk in supporting sustainable development in Indonesia and explore the position of wakalah contracts during the issuance process. A qualitative content analysis approach is used as the analytical method. This study emphasizes the context analysis of the results of a comprehensive literature study. The results showed that green retail sukuk offered two types of investment, namely Sukuk Ritel (SR) and Sukuk Tabungan (ST). Each of these types has unique and different characteristics. The application of the wakalah contract used in the two types is different, and is more dominant in the savings sukuk scheme. Even though the wakalah contract is used as the basic contract construction for the two types of retail sukuk. Promoting green retail sukuk is able to provide alternative implications for disaster mitigation in Indonesia through investment support for the development of sustainable government green projects.
SyamsuriAhmad Havid JakiyudinArizqiya Nurfattah

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/lamaisyir/article/view/46537

This research is motivated by the instability of profitability experienced by Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia over the past five years. This paper aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, solvency, and Non-Performing Financing (NPF) on profitability with company size as a moderating variable in Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia from 2019-2023. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the financial statements of banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The analysis method used in this study is panel data regression with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The study results indicate that liquidity and solvency have a positive and significant effect on profitability, while NPF has a negative and significant effect on profitability. Firm size can moderate the relationship between liquidity and profitability and the relationship between solvency and profitability, but firm size cannot moderate the relationship between NPF and profitability. The implications of this study indicate the importance of liquidity management, debt control, and management of problematic financing in improving the profitability performance of Islamic banks.
Annisa Putri NurdinTiara Juliana Jaya
