Analisis Peran Perpustakaan Raja Naga Jambe dalam Meningkatkan Budaya Membaca Masyarakat di Kabupaten Dairi

This research analyzes the role of Raja Naga Jambe Library in improving the reading culture of the community in Dairi Regency, North Sumatra. Libraries have great potential in encouraging people's interest in reading, but their mere existence does not guarantee the realization of a strong reading culture. This research identifies programs, supporting and inhibiting factors and efforts made by the library in improving reading culture. The method used is a case study by collecting data through observation, interviews, and document studies. The results show that Raja Naga Jambe Library plays a role in providing access to information, supporting education, and empowering the community through literacy programs. The main supporting factors are community involvement, government support and the provision of adequate facilities. Meanwhile, significant inhibiting factors are the lack of budget and low public awareness of the importance of reading. Efforts made to overcome these obstacles include awareness campaigns through social media, promotions, socialization to village/school libraries, and yearbook procurement.

Peran Perpustakaan dalam Menyediakan Akses informasi Untuk Pelaku Ekonomi Kreatif kreatif di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Medan

Perkembangan ekonomi kreatif (ekraf) di Indonesia mendorong kebutuhan informasi bagi para pelakunya. Perpustakaan umum, termasuk Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Medan(Disperpusar), memiliki peran penting dalam menyediakan akses informasi bagi pelaku ekonomi kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Disperpusar dalam menyediakan akses informasi bagi pelaku ekonomi kreatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Disperpusar telah menyediakan berbagai layanan untuk mendukung pelaku ekonomi kreatif, seperti koleksi buku dan bahan pustaka tentang ekonomi kreatif, layanan informasi digital, program inklusi sosial yang melibatkan masyarakat, ruang baca dan belajar serta layanan lainnya.

Analisis Kebijakan Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Sei Rampah Terhadap Hak Cipta Untuk Mencegah Resiko Plagiarisme

In efforts to encourage and maintain the results of work to accelerate the development of national intelligence, it is important to feel the existence of legal protection for copyright. This study aims to analyze the library policy of SMA Negeri 1 Sei Rampah on copyright to prevent the risk of plagiarism in the school environment. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and interviews. Data analysis used in this study is the Miles and Huberman model analysis called the "flowing data analysis" model which is carried out interactively and continues continuously until the data is saturated. The study results indicate that copyright policies and efforts to prevent plagiarism in the library of SMA Negeri 1 Sei Rampah are still quite low. This is due to the inadequate understanding of librarians regarding copyright policies.

Tunjangan Fungsional dan Motivasi Kerja Pustakawan Universitas Hasanuddin

This study investigates whether an increase in functional allowances can enhance the work motivation of librarians at the University of Hasanuddin Makassar Library. The primary research question is whether the increase in functional allowances leads to improved motivation among librarians. The objective of the study is to determine if raising functional allowances can boost librarians' work motivation at this library. Employing a descriptive research design with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques included observation, document analysis, and interviews with five librarians from the University of Hasanuddin Makassar Library. The findings indicate that increasing functional allowances positively affects librarians' work motivation, leading to greater enthusiasm and discipline in their work.

Pemanfaatan Opac sebagai Media Temu Kembali Informasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar

This study aims to determine the optimization of OPAC, the factors that influence users to use OPAC, and the obstacles faced by users in utilizing OPAC as a medium for retrieving information at the Muhammadiyah University Library Makassar. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with librarians and users. Data analysis involves collecting, reducing, assessing, and interpreting data critically to reach conclusions. The results showed that: First, the factors that influence library users in utilizing OPAC, namely increasing the productivity and effectiveness of collection searches, as well as facilitating the activity of retrieving library materials needed by users without the need to search one by one on the collection shelves. Second, the obstacles faced in utilizing OPAC, namely frequent network disruptions when users use OPAC, the lack of ability of users to search through OPAC, and the mismatch of information between the display in OPAC and the existence on the collection shelves

The concept of a library based on social inclusion is an interesting thing to research and understand more deeply. This research aims to explore how Lipperpul (Five Featured Library Programs) in Purwakarta Regency Regional Library presents social inclusion. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques through participant observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. This research was conducted on 3 informants of young expert librarians of Purwakarta Regency Regional Library, 1 informant of basic guitar class teacher at Purwakarta Regency Regional Library, and 2 informants of the community who utilize Lipperpul. Data analysis in the study through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show social inclusion through Lipperpul: social transformation, empowerment, and lifelong learning. Pemetaan Bibliometrik dengan VOSviewer terhadap Pengetahuan Lokal Mitigasi Bencana

Bibliometric mapping can describe variations in information regarding local knowledge in an effort to reduce the impact of disasters. Although there has been much discussion about bibliometric mapping, research on local knowledge in the context of disaster mitigation is still very limited. Research methods. The bibliometric method with a quantitative approach is applied through the Scopus database with a range of 2019-2023 and VOSviewer visualization. The mapping technique is carried out using co-citation analysis and network and density visualization. Analysis data. There were 98 documents that cited two studies simultaneously. The most cited research discusses local knowledge for disaster preparedness and the integration of indigenous knowledge with science for disaster risk reduction. Results and Discussion. The research relationship pattern resulted in 8 clusters with different topic focuses, ranging from the integration of indigenous knowledge and scientific knowledge in disaster resilience, disaster risk management, to community participation.

Hubungan Kualitas Layanan dengan Minat Kunjung Pemustaka di Perpustakaan Kota Bandung

The library is one of the sources of information and science that has an important role in supporting education, research, and the development of society. One of the indicators of success in the library is the high level of interest in visiting librarians. This research aims to find out how much the quality of the service is linked to the interest of visiting librarians in the Bandung City library. The sampling technique in this study used quota samplings, with a quantitative approach to 43,338 library visitors in January – November 2023 and a sample of 300 respondents. An analysis conducted using the Software Statistical Package for The Social or SPSS version 27 resulted from the results of this study that the quality of the service has an influence with the interest of the publisher with the acquisition of numbers of 0.629 or in the level of “strong ” relationship. The highest variable is obtained by the physical evidence (tangible) of 0.506 then followed by reliability of 0.450, assurance of 0,425, responsiveness of 0.406, and finally empathy of 0.376

Penerapan Software Inlislite pada Pengolahan Bahan Pustaka di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan

The main problem in this research is how to apply Inlislite software to the processing of library materials at the Library and Archives Service of South Sulawesi Province. From the main problem above the author divides it into two sub-problems, namely: First, how to apply Inlislite software to the processing of library materials at the Library Service and South Sulawesi Provincial Archives. Second, what are the obstacles faced in implementing Inlislite software in processing library materials at the South Sulawesi Province Library and Archives Service. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research with a systematic managerial approach. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the inlislite application at the South Sulawesi Province Library and Archives Service has been carried out well. There are two ways to process library materials, namely manual processing and automated processing. Obstacles faced by librarians in implementing applications include frequent maintenance and very limited budgets.

Inklusi Sosial pada Bank Sampah Perpustakaan Rosella Genematrik dalam Menciptakan Ekonomi Baru pada Masyarakat Kelurahan Siantan Tengah Kecamatan Pontianak Utara

The purpose of this study is to the strategy of the Rosella Genematrik Library waste bank in creating a new economy in Siantan Tengah Village, North Pontianak, which is a social inclusion program that helps process waste sustainably with community participation. The library as a center for information sources has various functions in education, research, and recreation. Collaboration between waste banks and libraries can create an ecosystem that supports the growth of entrepreneurship in the fields of waste management and recycling. The research method used is qualitative with documentary study techniques and interviews. The researcher conducted research at the Rosella Genematrik Library waste bank in Siantan Tengah Village, North Pontianak District, West Kalimantan. This study discusses the strategy of waste banks as a social inclusion program to create a new economy in the community. Some of the proposed strategies include promotion on social media, development of community resources, providing facilities and services, campaigns to increase environmental awareness, incentive programs, sources of information, entrepreneurship training, environmental literacy, and development of environmentalist communities. In conclusion, waste banks can use this strategy to support a new economy that is more sustainable and a cleaner environment

Pemanfaatan Koleksi BI Corner Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara sebagai Bahan Rujukan Penelitian bagi Mahasiswa

UMSU Library has several corner services including BI Corner, Muhammadiyah Corner, Japan Corner, French Corner, and Indian Corner. The purpose of this research is to find out how the utilization of the BI Corner collection as research reference material by students and what are the obstacles faced by students. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data collection technique is by making direct observations to the BI Corner service in the UMSU library. In addition, the author also conducted an interview with a librarian who knew the BI Corner service and also conducted interviews with 3 users who visited the BI Corner service, as well as conducting documentation activities on several activities that the author went through to make research. The results of this study show that students have utilized the BI Corner collection for their research reference material and the obstacles faced by the library users are that the library users still have difficulty finding BI Corner collections and the collections owned by BI Corner are not fully complete.
