This type of research is quantitative research with an ex post facto method. The population in this study was all students at Hasanuddin Gowa Middle School, totaling 160 people. The sampling technique used was random sampling so that a sample of 48 students was obtained. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses inferential statistics through simple and multiple linear regression tests. The results of this research prove that: 1) the performance of the OSIS supervisors at Hasanuddin Gowa Middle School has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes by 59.9%; 2) teacher performance at Hasanuddin Gowa Middle School has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes by 47.6%; and 3) the performance of the OSIS supervisor and the performance of the teacher simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes by 47.6% at Hasanuddin Gowa Middle School. Synergy between teachers and OSIS leaders is the key to creating a holistic and meaningful educational experience for students. This research implies that the performance of OSIS supervisors and teacher competence can be a factor in achieving learning quality standards if teachers have and are able to apply the discipline and competence they have and are supported by other factors in carrying out their duties and responsibilities so that they can run well.</em></p> Muh. The research employed a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The population size for the study is 21, utilizing a saturated sampling technique due to the population being &lt; 100. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of simple regression between SBM and learning quality yielded tcount = 5.497 &gt; ttable = 2.093, indicating that SBM implementation influences learning quality. Meanwhile, for school committee participation and learning quality, tcount = 5.339 &gt; ttable = 2.093, suggesting that school committee participation affects learning quality. Additionally, the results of multiple regression for all three variables yielded Fcount = 21.593, Ftable = 3.59, and tcount for SBM = 2.544, tcount for committee participation = 2.093 &gt; ttable = 2.093. This indicates there is an influence of both school-based management implementation and school committee participation on the improvement of learning quality at MA Plus YPUI Topoyo, Central Mamuju District, collectively. Effective implementation of school-based management, coupled with active participation from the school committee, will result in better outcomes for learning quality improvement. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a management approach. The data sources consist of the school principal, curriculum vice principal, as well as teachers and students. Data collection techniques are carried out using interview instruments, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use 3 stages: data reduction, data presentation, and qualitative data analysis. The results show that: 1) the planning stage is still not optimal and still needs to be improved, both in the coordination stage and in the stage of determining school needs; 2) the procurement stage is sourced from the foundation, BOS funds, and assistance from the school committee, the school prioritizes buildings/facilities according to school needs; 3) Supervision is carried out periodically by the foundation, educators also have an obligation to maintain school facilities; 4) The elimination stage of school facilities and infrastructure is carried out by checking the goods first and then determining which items to eliminate from the inventory list; 5) education quality is related to the utilization of school facilities, in this case, the learning process that leads to school competitiveness, the facilities owned by the school are still inadequate. However, the school still utilizes its strengths by utilizing collaboration of human resources and existing school facilities. School principals and educators are expected to be able to manage optimally and always strive to improve the competitiveness of the school because they have an important role in realizing educational quality.</em></p> Irfan Jaya, Siradjuddin Siradjuddin, Mardhiah Mardhiah Copyright (c) 2024 Irfan Jaya, Siradjuddin, Mardhiah https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/nazzama/article/view/44663 Sat, 30 Mar 2024 12:02:21 +0000 THE ROLE OF THE MADRASAH HEAD AS A MOTIVATOR IN FOSTERING TEACHER WORK DISCIPLINE https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/nazzama/article/view/43651 <p><em>This research aims to describe the role of the madrasah head as a motivator in fostering teacher work discipline at MTs Al-Ihsan Kajuara, Bone Regency. This study is qualitative research. Data sources were obtained directly from the madrasah head, deputy madrasah head, and teachers at MTs Al-Ihsan Kajuara. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then processed and analyzed through three stages: data reduction, data display (data presentation), and verification and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the work discipline of teachers at MTs Al-Ihsan Kajuara is quite good, but not yet optimal because there are still teachers who are not punctual and lack discipline in creating teaching materials. Signing attendance lists, performing tasks and responsibilities, conducting assessments of teaching and learning activities, and completing class administration regularly have been carried out well. The role of the madrasah head as a motivator is conducted by arranging the physical environment of the madrasah, creating a good working atmosphere, disciplining with a personal approach, providing encouragement, and giving rewards as a form of fostering teacher work discipline at MTs Al-Ihsan Kajuara.
