Uji fitokimia biji cempedak (Artocarpus integer)
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat profil fitokimia biji cempedak (Artocarpus integer) dan menentukan metabolit sekunder yang dominan serta berpotensi sebagai fitofarmaka. Dilakukan uji fitokimia baik pada bahan segar maupun ekstrak kloroform biji cempedak untuk mendeteksi senyawa seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, terpenoid, saponin, dan fenolik. Berdasarkan uji fitokimia bahan segar biji cempedak dan ekstrak kloroform, senyawa yang terdeteksi paling tinggi adalah senyawa terpenoid, sementara metabolit sekunder lainnya seperti alkaloid dan steroid terdeteksi lemah dalam tanaman uji. Hal ini berarti bahwa biji cempedak memiliki kadar terpenoid yang tinggi sehingga berpotensi sebagai antiinflamasi, antimikroba, dan antikanker.
