Indonesia is one of the countries in Southeast Asia located between two continental plates and two oceanic plates, causing the Indonesian region to have diverse morphological forms, one of which is the plateau or hills that have sloping and steep land fields. Indonesia is also a country crossed by the equator, so that Indonesia has two seasons, namely the dry season and the rainy season. This research aims to apply geographic information system (GIS) in making landslide prone map in Kaseralau village, Batulappa sub-district, Pinrang district. This research was conducted in Kaseralau Village, Batulappa Sub-district, Pinrang Regency. The data processing method used is using Arcgis software for mapping. In the mapping, parameters such as rainfall, slope, geomorphology, soil type and geology are required. Based on the results obtained from the research data using GIS software, the level of landslide vulnerability in Kaseralau Village, Batulappa Sub-district, Pinrang Regency is obtained, namely for low vulnerability level with a distribution percentage of 6%, for medium vulnerability level with a distribution percentage of 10%, and for high vulnerability with a distribution percentage of 84%. This data is reinforced by GIS data in the form of slope, geomorphology, rainfall, soil type, and geological conditions as well as field survey results in the form of photos.
Nurvadillah Angraini.
To determine a particle size, various methods are commonly used, including sieve analysis, laser diffraction sedimentation (LAS), electronical zone sensing (EZS), image analysis or microscopy, chromatography methods, and others. In some techniques, complex processes are typically required and analysis can be time-consuming. One method that simplifies particle size analysis, especially in the micro-size range, is by utilizing digital images. One of the methods in digital imaging is the binary method. Measurements using ImageJ software were conducted with two samples, namely beach sand and concrete sand, which have different particle sizes. Based on the research results, it was obtained that were in accordance with standard measurements based on references. For beach sand with a dataset of 57 samples, the range of particle size values obtained was 0.00220 – 0.766 mm, while for concrete sand with 56 data points, the minimum value obtained was 0.315, and the maximum value was 3.30.
Fitriyanti Fitriyanti, Fathia Rayhani, Khaerul Ikhsan

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/sainfis/article/view/55486

The water level sensor and raindrop sensor are essential components in water monitoring systems that require performance evaluation to ensure measurement accuracy. This study aims to analyze the analog output in the form of voltage from both sensors and calculate the error rate in their measurements. The method involves testing the water level sensor at varying water heights, ranging from 0.4 cm to 4 cm, and testing the raindrop sensor with variations in water droplet volume. The experiments were conducted using tools such as a digital multimeter, power supply, ruler, tissue, and other supporting devices. The measurement results show that the water level sensor has a relatively low error rate, ranging from 0.166965% to 7.259148%. Meanwhile, the raindrop sensor produces voltage variations between 1.6 V and 4.8 V, with an error rate ranging from 1.74679% to 14.89631%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the water level sensor demonstrates high stability for water level monitoring applications, whereas the raindrop sensor requires more precise management to improve its accuracy in detecting water droplets.
Siti Fadilah Sucaga, Andi Muthia Ainun Zahra, Prasepvianto Estu Broto

https://journal3.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/sainfis/article/view/55141

Testing the suitability of intraoral dental X-ray devices has been carried out using the methods of collimation (conus) testing, voltage accuracy testing, irradiation time accuracy testing, reproducibility testing, and Half Value Layer (HVL) X-ray beam testing. The collimation test obtained the measurement result of the diameter or diagonal dimension parameter of the conus, which is 60 mm. The measured value of the X-ray beam dimension parameter is 57.26 mm and for the measured value of the focal point distance to the patient's skin (SSD) parameter is 202 mm. The kVp accuracy test obtained error values at each kVp setting are 5.8%, 3.5%, and 3.5%. This error value is smaller than the test pass value so that the tube voltage accuracy test results are in accordance with the established standards. The irradiation time accuracy test found that the error values at each s-set were 2.0%, 1.2%, 0.9%, 0.8% and 0.8%. Reproducibility tests for radiation output (mGy) and tube voltage (kVp) obtained CV values are smaller than the predetermined test pass value of CV ≤ 0.05. X-ray beam quality testing (HVL) obtained measured HVL values at kVp are 2.28 mmAl, 2.31 mmAl and 2.47 mmAl which are greater than the test pass value.
Hajra Hajra, Rezki ulandari, Siti Surya Syam, Jumardin Jumardin, Sri Zelviani, Jasdar Agus, Harmini Harmini
