POLA KOMUNIKASI ANTARPRIBADI WALI KELAS DALAM MEMOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 6 SOROMANDI SATAP KABUPATEN BIMA NUSA TENGGARA BARAT (NTB)
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the pattern of communication established between homeroom teachers and grade VIII students of Smp Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, 2) factors inhibiting interpersonal communication of homeroom teachers in motivating learning for grade VIII students of Smp Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This type of research includes qualitative descriptive research. This study's data sources were homeroom teachers, BK teachers, and students. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing techniques and data analysis are done through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study show, that 1) the communication pattern used by homeroom teachers in motivating the learning of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, uses primary communication patterns, secondary communication patterns, and circular communication patterns. 2) homeroom teachers face 2 (two) obstacles obstacles in motivating learning for grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, namely: Semantic barriers (derived from language differences) and psychological barriers during the communication process, especially in feedback.
