The Roles of Advocate Professional Education in Improving the Quality and Competitiveness of Sharia and Law Alumni
Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas dan daya saing alumni Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum (FSH), Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar (UINAM) melalui Pendidikan Profesi Khusus Advokat (PKPA) yang diselenggarakan oleh panitia kampus. Metode penelitian mengunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan pengumpulan data secara kuantitatif menggunakan survei. Temuan penilaian memperlihatkan peningkatan kualitas alumni setelah mengikuti PKPA dari aspek kepuasan pengguna lulusan, seperti kantor pengacara, lembaga negara, dan swasta merasa puas dengan kinerja cetakan PKPA UINAM, khususnya alumni FSH UINAM. Kualitas panitia sebagai pencetak advokat juga meningkat secara periodik diikuti peningkatan peminat peserta. Temuan lainnya adalah daya saing yang diperlihatkan dari masa tunggu bekerja yang singkat, yaitu selama 3,5 bulan dan kontribusi lulusan yang mampu berkontribusi sebanyak 15% dari total peserta Ujian Profesi Advokat (UPA) secara nasional. Hal ini memperlihatkan implikasi yang diberikan dengan menjadikan daya saing alumni mampu bersaing secara nasional dan global.
