PENDAYAGUNAAN ZAKAT PADA BADAN AMIL ZAKAT NASIONAL UNTUK PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN UMAT
Abstrak
The global conclusion of this paper proves that the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) has carried out the utilization of zakat by having an organizational policy foundation based on management aspects. BAZNAS has presented itself as a modern zakat management organization, and on the performance side, it can utilize zakat by applying management principles. The prototype of the BAZNAS organization and its performance have refuted the views of some observers on the image of zakat managers who originally placed amil as a "part-time job" and "impressed to distribute zakat money" into a professional and accountable job. Thus, the management of zakat is closely related to the policies developed by BAZNAS, namely establishing a new formula for the utilization of zakat. The new formulation is Participatory Rational Consumptive (KRP) and Participative Rational Productive (PRP). This model provides an opportunity for Mustahik to raise self-awareness, which is facilitated by the zakat manager.
