IMPLIKASI PANDEMIK COVID 19 PADA PERILAKU DAN PERSEPSI PENGHUNI TERKAIT DESAIN HUNIAN IDEAL

Abstract

Abstrak_ Penelitian ini merupakan studi awal yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan menguji dampak pandemi Covid 19 pada persepsi penghuni terkait desain hunian ideal dan hubungannya terkait perilaku penghuni. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan teknik survey, pengambilan data dengan membagikan kuesioner secara daring menggunakan Google Form. Sebanyak 217 responden mengisi kuesioner dengan kriteria berusia diatas 18 tahun, bertempat tinggal atau berdomisili di Kota Makassar, dan penghuni jenis rumah tapak atau cluster. Data yang dihasilkan berbentuk data kategorik dan dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dengan melihat tendensi dari jawaban responden, kemudian melakukan pengujian menggunakan chi-square dengan SPSS 25. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa penghuni melakukan upaya adaptasi dan terjadi perubahan aktivitas selama di rumah. Desain hunian ideal bagi persepsi penghuni terutama pada tiga kriteria aspek desain, yaitu asri dengan tanaman hijau dan pohon, mengutamakan sistem pencahayaan alami dan penggunaan material low maintenance (mudah dibersihkan). Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara upaya adaptasi dan perubahan aktivitas penghuni dengan persepsi penghuni terhadap ketiga kriteria aspek desain rumah ideal sebagai dampak dari Covid 19. Studi ini menyarankan bahwa pendekatan konsep rumah sehat menjadi konsep paling cocok digunakan untuk hunian di masa mendatang sebagai implikasi dari adanya virus Covid 19.

Abstract_ This research was a preliminary study conducted to determine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on residents' perceptions regarding the ideal residential design and its relationship to occupant behaviors. This study used a survey technique approach. The data were collected by distributing an online Google Form questionnaire. A total of 217 respondents filled out the questionnaire with the criteria being over 18 years old, residing or domiciled in Makassar City, and residing in a landed type house or cluster. The resulting data is in the form of categorical data and analyzed by descriptive statistics by looking at the tendency of the respondents' answers, then testing using chi-square with SPSS 25. The results of the study show that residents make adaptation efforts and there are changes in activity while at home. The ideal residential design for the perception of residents, especially on three design aspect criteria, namely beautiful with green plants and trees, prioritizing natural lighting systems, and the use of low maintenance materials (easy to clean). There is a significant positive relationship between adaptation efforts and changes in residents' activities with residents' perceptions of the three criteria for ideal house design aspects as a result of Covid 19. This study suggests that the healthy home concept approach is the most suitable concept for housing in the future as an implication of the presence of the virus. Covid 19.
