Starting in 2025, the Alauddin Law Development Journal (ALDEV) will publish 5-10 articles in each edition, and no charge for the authors in the publication process.  

We announced that Alauddin Law Development Journal (ALDEV) is starting to use the new template from Volume 6, year 2024 onwards. The author(s) can catch it in this Template ALDEV 2024. In addition, ALDEV also prioritized welcome articles in English, but the Indonesian language is also received.  

Based on Decree No. 204/E/KPT/2022 from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia, we proudly inform the prospective authors that ALDEV has been indexed in the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) 4 in the period of Vol. 2, No.1, 2020 until Vol. 6, No. 2, 2024.

    Alauddin Law Development Journal (ALDEV): The International Journal of Law is seeking to appoint International Editors to join our existing team. ALDEV was established in 2019 as the journal of the Law Department, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. Since then, it has developed into an internationally renowned peer reviewed publication covering all aspects of law. It is published online for three times a year on March, August, and November.

    We are keen to broaden the international outlook of this section and would particularly welcome individuals based outside of the Indonesia. We also encourage applications that will deepen the diversity of our Editorial team and Editorial Board. The appointment will be initially for twelve months (reneweable), and an induction will be provided in advance of the start date.

    As a board of editor member, you will be expected to:
    1. Recommend high quality papers for publication in ALDEV.
    2. Call for papers from your acquaintances.
    3. Help to review submitted manuscripts or recommend referees to ALDEV.
    4. Promote ALDEV at relevant conferences and other public events.

  • Call for Paper Vol. 7, No. 1, 2025: Human Rights and Global Perspectives on Humanitarian Law

    We are inviting all of researchers, practitioners and academics to submit their best articles in the field of law, more specifically in theme Human Rights and Global Perspectives on Humanitarian Law. The articles will be published in VOLUME 7 in MARCH 2025.

    Please read and understand the author's guidelines for the preparation manuscript (downloadable at: Template and Author Guidelines). If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed. The editorial team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formatting requirements.

    Prospective authors should submit the manuscript ONLY by submission system at: https://journal.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/aldev/about/submissions by adding the note Call for Paper 2025.  We DO NOT accept any submissions via email at all. 

    The deadline is January 10, 2025. Then, the result will be announced in January 15, 2025 in ALDEV website.

    1. The article must be written in English.
