About the Journal
Focus and Scope
ICOR: Journal of Regional Economics is a peer-review journal. ICOR publishes both significant theoretical/empirical and positive/normative contributions to the research results of Economics students with a focus on Regional Economics studies especially Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Public and Environmental Economics, Political Economy, Industrial Organizations and Trade, Human Resources, Demography, and Employment, and National and Regional Finance.
Peer Review Process
The peer-review process is an essential part of the publication process, which improves the manuscripts our journals publish. Not only does peer review provide an independent assessment of the importance and technical accuracy of the results described, but the feedback from referees conveyed to authors with the editors' advice frequently results in manuscripts being refined so that their structure and logic is more readily apparent to readers.
All manuscripts received by the editor of ICOR: Journal of Regional Economics will be reviewed by peer reviewers according to the field of economics studies (at least 2 people) with a double-blind policy. The first initial review takes at least 2 weeks up to 1 month. The review process will take at least 15 days to complete for the first round. The review process can pass more than one review round. The final decision will be taken by the editor-in-chief based on the comments from the reviewers in the editorial board forum. The process from submission until publication will take around 2 months.

ICOR: Journal of Regional Economics is published three times a year in April, August, and December
