PERLINDUNGAN KONSUMEN TERHADAP KESADARAN PRODUK MAKANAN HALAL DI WILAYAH MINORITAS STUDI KOLABORASI HUKUM POSITIF DAN HUKUM ISLAM
Abstract
The balance of legal protection for business actors and consumers is inseparable from the regulation of legal relationships that occur between the parties. Halal is part of one of the rights of consumers in accepting the truth of all certain information about the product. The purpose of this study is to find out: consumers' halal awareness of food products, the form of supervision and witnesses carried out by BPJPH and LPPOM MUI institutions in protecting and supervising halal certificates. This research method is field research using an approach to norms or legislation (statute apparoach), a theological approach, and a Conceptual approach (Conceptual Apporoach). The result of this research is consumer awareness of halal certificates on products, not only from Muslims but also non-Muslim consumers who consider halal as a sign of quality, especially in protecting consumer rights and ensuring transparency and trust in commercial transactions. And the most important thing is that consuming halal products is an order of the Islamic religion which contains verses in the Quran and Hadith. The supervision and sanctions carried out by BPJPH are temporarily limited to coaching and education to business actors to register and include halal labels on each of their products
