Status Gizi Siswa Berdasarkan IMT dan Tinggi Badan di SD No. 1 Canggu, Badung, Bali
Abstrak
SD No. 1 Canggu. Sekolah terletak di Kecamatan Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, yang merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata utama di Bali bahkan di Indonesia saat ini. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak di daerah wisata cenderung memiliki akses lebih mudah terhadap makanan cepat saji dan jajanan yang kurang sehat. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan risiko masalah gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan status gizi siswa SD No. 1 Canggu, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, berdasarkan pengukuran Indeks Massa Tubuh menurut Umur (IMT/U) dan Tinggi Badan menurut Umur (TB/U). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, di mana data dikumpulkan dari 152 siswa kelas 1 hingga 6. Pengukuran IMT/U dan TB/U dilakukan untuk menentukan status gizi, yang kemudian dikategorikan menurut standar WHO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa SD No. 1 Canggu memiliki status gizi normal berdasarkan IMT/U dan TB/U. Namun, masalah gizi ganda tetap ada, dengan 7.8% siswa mengalami obesitas dan 16.5% tergolong kurus atau sangat kurus. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya peningkatan kebijakan gizi di sekolah, termasuk edukasi gizi, perbaikan kualitas makanan di kantin, dan program peningkatan aktivitas fisik.
