Focus and Scope

Al asma : Journal of Islamic Education is a journal intended to accommodate all matters relating to the development of Islamic education knowledge. This journal specializes in education in the Islamic world and all things related to it. Hopefully through this journal the development of Islamic education can be achieved through research and science. It has been indexed in SINTA 4 (Accredited Journal, Decree No.177/E/KPT/2024) by the Director General of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Al asma : Journal of Islamic Education is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "peer-review". It is due to increase the quality of articles. Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is mostly based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary. The Editorial Team, however, reserves the right to make the final decision on the status of the manuscript with regard to publication.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethic

The authors must ensure that his/her manuscript does not infringe any copyright laws, and must indemnify the editors and publisher against any copyright infringement. It is the responsibility of the authors to obtain permission to use copyrighted material and provide such evidence upon submitting the manuscript.
 
Above all, all matters about journal publication ethics refer to "Peraturan Kepala Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia Nomor 5 Tahun 2014 Tentang Kode Etika Publikasi Ilmiah" (The Rules of Indonesian Institute of Sciences Regarding of Code of Scientific Publication Ethics) as it can be downloaded here.

Publication Fee

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)

Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: 200000.00 (IDR)

If your manuscript is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication cost.

Plagiarism

Authors should submit only original work that is not plagiarized and not has been published or being considered elsewhere. Turnitin will be used by the editorial team to check for similarities of the submitted manuscript with existing literatures.
