PARTISIPASI POLITIK GURU DALAM PEMILUKADA DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI KABUPATEN TAKALAR SULAWESI SELATAN
Abstract
Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan perpolitikan di Kabupaten Takalar Prov. Sulawesi Selatan, untuk mengetahui kinerja guru yang terlibat dalam kegiatan perpolitikan di Kabupaten Takalar Prov. Sulawesi Selatan, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara partisipasi guru dalam politik dengan kinerja guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru di Kabupaten Takalar dan sampel penelitian ini adalah guru SD, SMP, dan SMA pada beberapa kecamatan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, pedoman wawancara, dan catatan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan perpolitikan di Kabupaten Takalar yaitu: kampanye, pemberian suara pilkada/partai, diskusi publik, dan mengemukakan opini di media massa. Kinerja guru-guru yang terlibat dalam kegiatan perpolitikan di Kabupaten Takalar berada dalam kategori sedang, dengan rata-rata kinerja guru sebesar 68.35.Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara partisipasi guru dalam politik dengan kinerja guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the form of teacher participation in political activities in Takalar South Sulawesi Province, (2) To determine the performance of the teachers who involved in political activities in Takalar, South Sulawesi, and (3) To determine the relationship between the participation of teachers in politics with the performance of teachers in the learning activities. The study population was a teacher in the Takalar District, and the sample of this research is the elementary school teachers, middle, and high school in a few districts in Takalar. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, interview guide, and observation records. The results showed that the forms of teacher participation in political activities in Takalar namely: the campaign, giving the election voice/party, public discussion, giving opinion in the media. Ther performance of the teachers involved in politics in Takalar are in the medium category, with an average of 68.35 mean score. It was found that there was not a significant correlation between the teachers’ participation in politics and the their performance in the learning activities
