PENGARUH METODE SQ3R TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN
Abstract
Abstract: The ability of students in reading comprehension was still poor, which then can influence the insight of students in various disciplines. The lack of reading may result in a lack of insight which is really needed in students’ academic activities. In motivating students to read, giving stimulus is important so that students can read intensively. This can be done by assigning students to read and to write a report on their reading based on references that are relevant to their courses. The application of SQ3R (survey, question, read, recite and review) in this research was effective to help students doing their reading tasks.
Abstrak: Kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami bacaan masih sangat minim yang berpengaruh pada wawasan mahasiswa dalam berbagai ilmu. Kurang membaca dapat berakibat pada kurang luasnya wawasan yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan akademik. Memotivasi mahasiswa untuk mau membaca, memerlukan stimulus agar mereka dapat intensif melakukannya. Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui pemberian tugas membaca dan memubuat laporan hasil bacaannya atas referensi terkait dengan mata kuliah yang dipelajarinya. Penerapan Metode SQ3R (survey, question, read, recite, and review) dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan efektif digunakan membantu mahasiswa menyelesaikan tugas tersebut.Downloads
