Korelasi Keterampilan Metakognitif Terhadap Kemampuan Siswa Dalam Memecahkan Masalah dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL)
Abstrak
Urgensi metakognitif sangat diperlukan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan suatu masalah, karena dalam pembelajaran siswa tidak hanya dituntut untuk mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif tapi juga kemampuan penalaran yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan metakognitif dengan kemampuan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah pada mata pelajaran biologi dengan menggunakan model PjBL. Dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sedangkan pendekatannya menggunakan penelitian korelasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama sebulan pada bulan Agustus 2022. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Uji Normalitas menggunakan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov Z, kemudian Uji Korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk menyatakan ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara variabel X dan variabel Y dan untuk menyatakan besarnya sumbangan variabel satu terhadap yang lainnya yang dinyatakan dalam persen. Keterampilan metakognitif siswa di SMAN 4 Sungai Penuh yaitu dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 76,11%, kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah pada mata pelajaran Biologi dengan menggunakan Model PjBL di SMAN 4 Sungai Penuh yaitu dengan kategori rendah 52,23%. Hubungan keterampilan metakognitif siswa dengan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah pada mata pelajaran Biologi dengan menggunakan model PjBL di SMAN 4 Sungai Penuh adalah tidak berkorelasi, Hubungan tiap-tiap indikator antara keterampilan metakognitif siswa dengan kemampuan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah pada mata pelajaran Biologi dengan menggunakan Model PjBL di SMAN 4 Sungai Penuh adalah tidak berkorelasi
