ARTICLE WRITING GUIDE

  1. The activity for which the article is made is one of the successful/excellent/typical activities/programs with a format that can be downloaded at Article Template
  2. The article is the result of empirical research related to community engagement programs.
  3. The corresponding author referred to in the "template" is the person who is considered to have the most understanding regarding the writing of the article or the person who will be contacted if the article is received, revised, and so on.
  4. The content and systematics of articles written using the format presented in a narrative essay is in the form of paragraphs, without numbering in front of the subtitle, and must include the following components:
  5. Title, provided that: a) the title is a brief, concise, and clear formulation of the discussion. You may use creative titles and attract readers (maximum 15 words). b) the title is written in English or English and Indonesian. c) The title is typed in bold, the beginning of each word is capitalized, except for conjunctions and prepositions.
  6. Abstract written in English or English and Indonesian. Abstract is the essence of the entire article. Abstract is written in one paragraph in one space, with a maximum length of 150-200 words. An abstract that is presented briefly and clearly must contain 4 (four) elements, namely: Reasons for selecting the topic or the importance of the research topic, research objectives, research methods, and findings.
  7. Keywords contain basic words in research, which can be taken from research variables, subject characteristics, and the theory being referred to (minimum three words or a combination of words, written alphabetically).
  8. The introduction contains the background of the problem, objectives, research benefits and literature review
  9. The research method contains the method of implementation, location and time of activity
  10. The results consist of sub-themes of the article which reveal the results of the research.
  11. The discussion presents an explanation of data analysis and explanation of research results which are linked to the results of previous studies, critically analyzed and linked to the latest relevant literature.
  12. Conclusions and suggestions for answers to the research objectives are written in a concise, clear and concise manner based on the results of the research and discussion (approximately 1 page).
  13. References contain reference sources written alphabetically and chronologically with a minimum of 7 sources. Reference sources are literature published in the last 10 years (mainly journals). Priority references are primary sources in the form of books, reports (including dissertations), or research articles in scientific journals and magazines. It is recommended to use Mendeley or Zotero as reference managers for organizing citations and bibliography.
