SOSIORELIGIUS: JURNAL ILMIAH SOSIOLOGI AGAMA

Socioreligious: Jurnal Ilmiah Sosiologi Agama is a periodical journal published twice a year, in June and December. This journal is published by the Department of Sociology of Religion, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Philosophy, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin, Makassar. This journal intends to build and encourage inclusive, democratic, and emancipatory religious and social discourses.

Socioreligius: Jurnal Ilmiah Sosiologi Agama accepts articles in the form of scientific articles on contemporary socio-religious themes. We prioritize texts that cover the problems of the contemporary social world with a fresh and new perspective in the Southeast Asia Region and especially in Indonesia. This journal is focused on discussing the topic of Sociology of Religion with coverage including; Religious Radicalism, Religious Institutions, Religious Social Movements, Religion and Culture, Religious Conflicts, Religion and Gender.

To improve the quality of articles and make it easier to edit manuscripts, the editor of Sosioreligius: Jurnal Ilmiah Sosiologi Agama still maintains the old template but changes the reference writing style to APA Style. This change began to be implemented in Volume 7 Number 2 of 2022. This was done by the editors to facilitate the work of the author and editors.
