HOTS-Resyenvair: Pengembangan Pembelajaran Sistem Respirasi Manusia Berbasis Masalah Pencemaran Lingkungan Hidup di Udara

Abstrak

 

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) pada topik sistem respirasi memerlukan inovasi. Inovasi pembelajaran IPA yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan integrasi antara topik sistem respirasi manusia dan masalah pencemaran udara. Integrasi ini diharapkan bisa menumbuhkan kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sebuah inovasi instrumen penilaian terkait dengan Higher Order Thinking Skills of Human Respiratory System based on Environmental Pollution Problem in Air (HOTS-Resyenvair) pada siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang merupakan integrasi antara pembelajaran IPA dan pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan metode research and development dengan mengadaptasi model ADDIE, namun pelaksanaan penelitian hanya sampai pada tahapan pengembangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrument HOTS-Resyenvair yang sudah dikembangkan berjumlah 12 soal yang diturunkan dari 6 indikator berdasarkan aspek HOTS yang mengadaptasi dari Taksonomi Anderson. Penggunaan HOTS-Resyenvair sebagai sebuah sarana inovatif dalam pembelajaran perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa di dalam memecahkan masalah sistem respirasi yang berbasis kepada masalah pencemaran lingkungan di udara. Hasil validasi dari ahli dan guru terhadap HOTS-Resyenvair adalah berkategori layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa instrument HOTS-Resyenvair yang dikembangkan berkategori valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA.
