GERAKAN DAKWAH MUHAMMADIYAH DI SULAWESI SELATAN
Abstract
Muhammadiyah sebagai salah satu organisasi besar yang ada di Indonesia telah mengembangkan model pemikiran dalam dua dimensi, yaitu ijtihad dan tajdid, serta kembali kepada Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah. Muhammadiyah sebagai gerakan pembaruan telah menjalankan misinya dalam bidang sosial, pendidikan, dakwah dan pelayanan kemanusiaan selama satu abad. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mendeskripsikan dinamika perkembangan tajdid gerakan dakwah Muhammadiyah di Sulawesi Selatan. Tajdid gerakan dakwah Muhammadiyah di Sulawesi Selatan mengalami perkembangan yang sangat dinamis karena adanya kekuatan infrastruktur dakwah Muhammadiyah yang terdiri atas struktur kepemimpinan horizontal, yakni majelis dan lembaga, serta struktur kepemimpinan vertikal yakni Pimpinan Wilayah, Pimpinan Daerah, Pimpinan Cabang dan Pimpinan Ranting di setiap daerah. Demikian pula Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah dan Organisasi Otonom Muhammadiyah yang senantiasa menjalankan kegiatan tajdid melalui gerakan dakwah. Selain itu, agenda tajdid Muhammadiyah di Sulawesi Selatan sangat komprehensif dan progressif karena merepresentasikan tajdid dalam berbagai dimensi, dan realisasi program tajdid melalui gerakan dakwah yang dilaksanakan. Muhammadiyah di Sulawesi Selatan mampu menjawab kebutuhan dan persoalan-persoalan mendasar yang dihadapi masyarakat. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari segi implementasinya pada beberapa rangkaian aktivitas, terutama yang berkaitan dengan peneguhan ideologi tajdid, aktivitas yang berorientasi pada tajdid sosial kemasyarakatan.
ABSTRACT
Muhammadiyah as one of the largest organizations existed in Indonesia has developed two dimensions of thought models, ijtihad and tajdid as well as the return to al-Qur’an. Muhammadiyah as a reform movement has been carrying out its missions in terms of social field, education, dakwah and the human services for a century. This research aims at depicting and describing the dynamic growth of Muhammadiyah’s dakwah movement of tajdid in South Sulawesi. The movement has experienced the significant and dynamical progress since there has been infrastructure power of Muhammadiyah dakwah encompassing horizontal leadership structure, namely assembly and institution, as well as vertical leadership fabric, videlicet Regional Chairman, Regional Executive, Branch Manager, and Branch Head in each regions. Likewise charitable efforts of Muhammadiyah and Muhammadiyah Autonomy Organisation are always performing tajdid activities through dakwah movement. Besides that, Muhammadiyah’s tajdid agenda in South Sulawesi is more comprehensive and progressive due to representing the tajdid in various dimensions and the realization of the tajdid program by means of the dakwah movement conducted. Muhammadiyah in South Sulawesi is able to meet basic needs and problems figured out by society. It might be seen from the implementation of continuous activities, particularly related to the affirmation of tajdid ideology, and of the efforts oriented to the societal tajdid.
