Vol. 10 No. 1 (2023): June : Linguistic and ELT
In this edition, we featured 10 diverse articles exploring various aspects of linguistics and language teaching. The studies included analyses of academic writing using Genre-Based SFL, quality assessment of idiom translation in literature, and the use of discourse markers by non-native speakers. Additional research covered error analysis in EFL student writing, language styles in digital advertisements, and adjective phrases in newspaper language. The edition also examined visual language in branding, gender differences in Instagram language use, the role of applications in EFL classroom assessments, and academic writing practices at Pesantren-based universities.
