Abstract: Implementation of Madrasah Committee Duties in Supporting the Implementation of School-Based Management

This study aims to determine the implementation of the madrasah committee as the advisory agency, supporting agency, controlling agency, and mediator agency in the implementation of school-based management at MAN 2 Makassar City. This type of research is classified as field research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation with the researchers themselves as the key instrument. The collected data is then analyzed by going through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or drawings. Testing the validity of the data through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the implementation of the madrasah committee as a advisory agency can provide suggestions and input when actively participating in the preparation of madrasah activity programs, namely at the beginning of the learning year preparing the madrasah work plan and annual work plan; 2) the implementation of the madrasah committee's duties as a supporting agency can be in the form of financial support, energy and thought support; 3) the implementation of the duties of the madrasah committee as the controlling agency to date has always monitored the use of the allocation of education funds, including in supervising the use of aid funds from the center and from the community that flowed to madrasas to make it easier; and 4) the implementation of the madrasah committee's duties as a mediator agency in the implementation of school-based management at MAN 2 Makassar City this implementation cannot be carried out optimally, because it is only limited to signatures in the draft made. The madrasah committee continues to strive to improve the implementation of madrasah duties, both in terms of considerations, supporters, controllers, and as mediators as well as effective and efficient mediators.
