IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SUPERVISION OF THE MADRASAH HEAD IN CREATING PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS

Abstract

This study aims to, 1) Describe the description of the implementation of the Supervision of the Madrasa Head in realizing professional teachers at the As'adiyah Ereng-Ereng Madrasah Tsanawiyah, 2) Describe the results of implementing the Supervision of the Madrasa Head in Creating Professional Teachers at the As'adiyah Ereng-Ereng Madrasah Tsanawiyah, and 3) Describe the inhibiting and supporting factors of the Supervision of the Madrasah Principal in Creating Professional Teachers at the As'adiyah Ereng-Ereng Tsanawiyah Madrasah. This study uses a type of qualitative research. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary data sources using data collection methods through interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, presenting and drawing conclusions and testing the validity of the data or testing the credibility using triangulation of time, techniques and sources. The results of the study show that the implementation of the supervision of the madrasah head in creating professional teachers at MTs As'adiyah Ereng-Ereng goes through 3 stages namely planning, implementation, and evaluation which includes teacher pedagogic, personality, professional and social skills. The approach used in supervision is collaborative by combining individual/individual techniques with group techniques. The supporting factors in the implementation of this supervision consist of a) Cooperation, b) the readiness of supervised teachers, c) Good relations between the head of the madrasah and the teacher. While the inhibiting factors consist of a) Teachers feel supervised, b) Inappropriate supervision schedule due to teacher busyness, and c) Inappropriate supervision schedule due to busyness of the Madrasah Head.
