THE INFLUENCE OF INFORMATION LITERACY, MEDIA LITERACY, AND DIGITAL LITERACY ON TEACHERS' PEDAGOGIC COMPETENCE
Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of information literacy skills, media literacy, and digital literacy on teachers’ pedagogic competence at MTs Darul Abrar, Bone Regency. The population in this study were all teachers who found 45 teachers. The population is considered small so that researchers use the entire population to study. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data processing and analysis techniques using statistics through simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The results obtained at MTs Darul Abrar, Bone Regency, prove that information literacy skills affect teachers' pedagogic competence by 59.2%; media literacy ability affects teachers' pedagogic competence by 59.8%; digital literacy skills affect teachers' pedagogic competence by 63%; and simultaneously, the ability of information literacy, media literacy, and digital literacy affect the pedagogic competence of teachers by 62.6%. Thus, teachers as educators must always update technological developments so as not to fall behind and still be able to adapt to changing situations and conditions of the times.
