THE EFFECT OF SOCIAL COMPETENCE AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF EMPLOYEES ON ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of social competence and professional competence of employees on administrative services at the Education Office in Bone Regency. This research is a quantitative research using ex post facto method. The research population was 93 employees with the technique of finding samples using simple random sampling so that a sample of 20 employees was obtained in the workforce. The instrument used to measure each variable is a questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed through simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the study prove that: the competence of social employees has a positive effect on administrative services by 22.6%; professional employee competence has a positive effect on administrative services by 21.4%; and social competence and employee competence together have a positive effect on administrative services by 22.7%. Thus, an employee must continue to strive to improve his social competence and competence in order to be able to spur them to be able to provide optimal services. An employee must further improve the quality of work, personal quality of employees, quantity of work, creativity, work knowledge and independence.
