EFFORTS TO INCREASE TEACHER PRODUCTIVITY THROUGH THE UTILIZATION OF IT IN LEARNING EVALUATION
Abstract
This research aims to find out the effectiveness of IT utilization, namely Microsoft excel in the implementation of student learning evaluation as a step to improve teacher performance in SMPN 02 Bajeng Barat. This research uses qualitative approaches with descriptive methods through interviews for the effectiveness of utilizing Microsoft Excel to process data on learners' learning outcomes in order to improve teacher performance in SMPN 02 Bajeng Barat. The results showed that educators at SMPN 02 Bajeng Barat have used Microsoft Excel in processing data on learners' learning outcomes even though in their application there are still those who do not fully use the features and functions of the Excel formula to the maximum. The use of Microsoft Excel helps teachers to work faster during this learning evaluation process, for that schools should maximize teacher competency development training in IT use.
