UTILIZATION OF THE.E-RKAM MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM IN THE PREPARATION OF STRATEGIC PLANS
Abstract
This study aims to 1) Describe the Existence of the Management of the e-RKAM Management Information System at MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa. 2) Describe the mechanism for preparing strategic plans at MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa. 3) Analyze the reality of the use of the e-RKAM management information system in preparing strategic plans at MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach, the data sources in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, as well as documentation and research instruments using observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and to test the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this study can be narrated as follows: 1) An overview of the existence of the e-RKAM management information system at MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa was carried out in accordance with existing procedures, namely data collection, data processing, results data storage and data release. 2) The mechanism for preparing a strategic plan at MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa is first, the preparation of the vision and mission is made at a special meeting to get input from madrasah stakeholders. Second, an internal environmental analysis was carried out by a team that had been formed to obtain madrasah data. Third, external environmental analysis was not carried out. Fourth, the analysis of the choice of strategy with SWOT analysis was not carried out. 3) The use of the e-RKAM management information system in preparing strategic plans at MTs Syekh Yusuf Sungguminasa is quite good because the plans made are based on data from the results of the Madrasah Self-Evaluation (EDM) but in terms of quality, the planning is not optimal because it is not based on external madrasah data and not go through the process of SWOT analysis in the formulation of the plan.
