IMPLEMENTATION OF EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN CHARACTER BUILDING AND INCREASING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT IN DARUL ISTIQAMAH WOMEN'S SCHOOL MAROS
Abstract
The study's goals are to learn more about how Putri Darul Istiqamah School (SPIDI) Maros plans, organizes, implements, and monitors education management strategies for character development and raising student accomplishment. This study is a field study that takes the form of a descriptive qualitative study. Both interviews and written records will be used to gather the data for this investigation. The study's findings show that: 1) At SPIDI Maros, educational management planning for developing students' character and academic accomplishment starts with a program planning meeting at the start of the school year that includes all school departments. 2) The SPIDI Maros students' character education is organized in accordance with a directive from the school's principal that specifies each position's primary responsibilities. 3) All teachers, including the principal, implement character development for SPIDI Maros students in an integrated manner. This includes forming students' religious character, character development for other students, and character development for students themselves. 4) Both internal and external supervisors are responsible for monitoring the development of SPIDI Maros' satri character. Internal supervisors include the school's principal and vice principals, while external supervisors are school supervisors delegated by the Education Office. The implementation is done in accordance with each person's primary duties and responsibilities as well as the activity monitoring tools, including monitoring and evaluation tools.
