THE INFLUENCE OF SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION AND SCHOOL COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF LEARNING QUALITY
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of school-based management (SBM) and school committee participation on the quality of learning at MA YPUI Topoyo, Central Mamuju District. The research employed a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The population size for the study is 21, utilizing a saturated sampling technique due to the population being < 100. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of simple regression between SBM and learning quality yielded tcount = 5.497 > ttable = 2.093, indicating that SBM implementation influences learning quality. Meanwhile, for school committee participation and learning quality, tcount = 5.339 > ttable = 2.093, suggesting that school committee participation affects learning quality. Additionally, the results of multiple regression for all three variables yielded Fcount = 21.593, Ftable = 3.59, and tcount for SBM = 2.544, tcount for committee participation = 2.093 > ttable = 2.093. This indicates there is an influence of both school-based management implementation and school committee participation on the improvement of learning quality at MA Plus YPUI Topoyo, Central Mamuju District, collectively. Effective implementation of school-based management, coupled with active participation from the school committee, will result in better outcomes for learning quality improvement. Active collaboration from all parties is expected to create a better learning quality, subsequently enhancing educational quality.
