PROBLEMATICS OF IMPLEMENTING EDUCATIONAL SUPERVISION
Abstract
Implementation of educational supervision is one of the important things. Supervisors are expected to be able to provide support and innovative solutions to educational problems and improve teacher performance in the learning process. The purpose of this article is to identify implementation problems faced by supervisors and school principals in implementing educational supervision. To achieve this goal, this article uses library research and the analysis used is content analysis. Data collection techniques are carried out through books, websites and articles related to educational supervision problems. The results of the study state that the implementation of educational supervision has several problems both in academic supervision and managerial supervision. In academic supervision, problems encountered include a lack of supervision carried out, time constraints, a lack of senior/peer teachers, and a lack of funds. To overcome these problems, efforts can be made to increase the availability of resources, increase the effectiveness of supervision, increase the availability of funds, and increase teacher participation. Efforts to overcome educational supervision problems, namely increasing the effectiveness of supervision by carefully planning and prioritizing important aspects, as well as involving all parties involved in the supervision process.
