MORAL-BASED EDUCATIONAL SUPERVISION: EDUCATING WITH INTEGRITY
Abstract
This article discusses the importance of moral actions in educational supervision. The author employs a library research method, conducted in three stages: reference search, identification, and conclusion drawing, using data sources from various relevant literature, books, and national journals. The study covers the following aspects: a) definition of moral actions; b) the importance of moral actions in supervision; c) procedures for moral actions in supervision; d) strategies for enhancing moral actions through supervision. After collecting data from various sources, the author analyzes the data and draws conclusions as needed. The findings of this study indicate that educational supervision and moral behavior play a crucial role in giving true meaning to the concept of education. Supervision as a moral action is an essential factor in the field of education, fostering good working relationships based on fairness and mutual understanding of the rights and responsibilities of both the supervisor and the supervised individual. This is achieved by adhering to values, norms, and regulations applied by supervisors in schools. Therefore, this research has implications for the implementation of educational supervision, emphasizing adherence to prevailing moral values.
