Focus and Scope

The journal of Dakwah Tabligh focuses on Dakwah and Communication of Islam study either traditional or modern. This journal provides any perspectives for those scholars or public who want to make some writings about the related focus.

As for studies, that are part of our study, namely:
- Political Communication
- Islamic communication
- Islamic Broadcasting Communication
- Communication between Religion and Culture
- Journalism
- Da'wah Management
- Social welfare
- Islamic counseling guidance
and others concerning communication and da'wah.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Dakwah Tabligh is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "peer-review". It is due to the increase in the quality of articles. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is mostly based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, the third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary. The Editorial Team, however, reserves the right to make the final decision on the status of the manuscript with regard to publication.

Publication Ethics

Journal Dakwah Tabligh is a peer-reviewed national journal, available in print and online and published twice a year. This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewer­­­­­ and the publisher (State Islamic University (UIN) of Alauddin– Makassar, Indonesia). This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Plagiarism

Authors should submit only original work that is not plagiarized and not has been published or being considered elsewhere. Turnitin will be used by the editorial team to check for similarities of submitted manuscript with existing literature.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

This journal was established in 2002 by the title of "Jurnal Dakwah Tabligh" that concentrates with Dakwah and Communication of Islam at any perspectives.
