KAPABILITAS KEPEMIMPINAN PADA UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI ALAUDDIN MAKASSAR

Abstract:
Leadership capability is the ability possessed by a leader in managing the organization and resources of the organization. Leadership capability can be seen through the leader's ability, commitment, and consistency. The ability of leaders can be seen in their performance, and responsibilities in achieving its objectives through technical skills, social skills and conceptual abilities. In addition, the commitment of leaders is how they set an example to harmonize the actions and values of togetherness, while consistent leaders is aligning between words and deeds. Therefore, a leader in implementing the role, need to: (1) applying the selection and recruitment of officials with the needs assessment system, (2) be responsive to respond the problems of organization, (3) think analytically and conceptually (4) to able to hold the commitment and implement consistency.

Kapabilitas kepemimpinan merupakan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh seorang pemimpin dalam mengelola organisasi dan sumber daya yang dimiliki orga-nisasi. Kapabilitas kepemimpinan dapat dilihat melalui kemampuan pemimpin, komitmen pemimpin, dan konsisten pemimpin. Kemampuan pemimpin menun-jukkan kemampuan seorang pemimpin dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam mencapai tujuan melalui kemampuan teknis, kemampuan sosial, dan kemampuan konseptual. Di samping itu, komitmen pemimpin adalah ba-gaimana pemimpin memberi teladan dengan menyeleraskan antara tindakan dan nilai-nilai kebersamaan, sedangkan konsisten pemimpin adalah menyelaraskan antara kata dan perbuatan. Karena itu, pemimpin dalam melaksanakan tugas perlu: (1) menerapkan seleksi dan rekruitmen pejabat dengan sistem need asses-ment, (2) tanggap merespons permasalahan oraganisasi, (3) berpikir analitikal dan konseptual, (4) memegang komitmen dan melaksana-kan konsisten.
