Lentera Pendidikan : Jurnal Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (p-ISSN: 1979-3472e-ISSN: 2580-5223) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to facilitating the dissemination of research in education, particularly in Islamic studies, the development of teaching and learning theories, and contemporary educational issues. The journal is published by the Teacher Training Institute, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. Formerly known as Lentera Akademika, the journal was first published in 1997 and was renamed Lentera Pendidikan : Jurnal Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan in 2013. It is indexed in SINTA 2 (Accredited Journal, Decree No. 200/M/KPT/2020) by the Ministry of Research and Technology/Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, with accreditation valid until 2024.

The journal's editorial mission is to provide a vanue for scholarly exchange and to connect researchers and practitioners in education-related fields.

Submissions are accepted from around the world. All submitted articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
